An interdisciplinary program in which acting and musical theatre programs are synthesized, dance-movement education, camera acting, creative drama in education and digital art are included will be implemented in the Department of Performing Arts opened within the Bahcesehir University. With this program, where the training for disciplines of dramatic theatre, musicals and contemporary performance are jointly provided, the method in order to train performers, theoretician and instructors is provided.

In this context, BAU Conservatory Performing Arts Department, where an original curriculum will be used, aims to provide its student with 21st century artist training skills in the integrity of practice and theory. In addition to the courses provided by academicians and professional artist who are specialists in their fields, a program diversity will be created with workshops, seminars and certificate programs to be carried out at national and international level.

The department aims to raise artists who have access to universal knowledge and information-use required by the information age, and artistic competencies, are knowledgeable and experienced in the field of music, and are sensitive to the cultural problems of the country and are successful in their profession, and protect our artistic, cultural and historical values, and provide high-level services and works in the field of music and are qualified in accordance with the professional education standards set by the European Union in international standards.
