Bahçeşehir University Law Faculty has been established in 2001. The aim of the legal education at the Law Faculty is to provide the graduates with information on legal methodology and methods of interpretation besides using one foreign language as the language of studying. The programe language is %70 Turkish and %30 English.

Koç University Law School was inaugurated in 2003. Yet, it quickly became an internationally reputable institution in legal education and research. This success is truly deserved. Our education policy is grounded on the unity of teaching and research. Our highly esteemed scholarly and professional team is the main source of cutting-edge legal education and research at the Law School. Since the opportunity to gain fundamental and new knowledge from a body of competent research scholars and practitioners meets our students’ high potential and desire for self-improvement, classes transform into a professional learning experience. This experience is consolidated by “innovative legal teaching” and “peer support” initiatives run in cooperation with our Learning and Teaching Center.

The School of Law aims to raise professionals who have been equipped with a solid understanding of law and legitimacy, and who can contribute to society as lawyers, attorneys, prosecutors, and judges.

Education at Yeditepe University Faculty of Law essentially lasts four years. However, as some of the courses in our faculty are conducted in English, our students whose English level is not sufficient are accepted into the preparatory program.

The existence of fair and democratic rules and regulations and the principle of the supremacy of the law are essential to the concept of the rule of law. The preservation and maintenance of the principles of law depend primarily on providing students with adequate and qualified legal education. 

The Faculty of Law provides lesson content consistent with the education policy of Yaşar University.

It aims to provide not only theoretical law knowledge but also analytical and critical thinking skills by closely following the changes and developments in the national and international field.

Although the law, which is one of the oldest disciplines in the world, has developed in different ways in every society, the economic, political, and cultural interactions among the societies have multiplied the common denominators and gradually decreased the differences. The development rate of modern societies brings along a constant transformation for all countries’ legal orders and obligate improvement of capacity to find new solutions to new problems.

Education offered in our Faculty is based on the “Turkish Legal System” and shows great similarities with the curricula of Law Faculties in Turkey. Diplomas conferred by our Faculty are all recognized and accredited by the Turkish Higher Education Board. The Faculty also offers an array of elective courses to provide the students with an enriched learning experience in different areas.

BİLGİ Faculty of Law has determined its mission as being ‘a more innovative and enterprising law faculty.’ With the purpose of raising the enterprising and innovative jurists of the new world order shaped by the digital transformation, a law faculty in Turkey has opened laboratories for the first time. A total of four laboratories titled Design in Law, Technology in Law, Privacy and Innovation, Data-Based Economics, and New Means of Production prepare our students for the future.
