Since its founding in 1996, Işık University has strengthened today to 5 Faculties with 35 undergraduate programs, two Vocational Schools with 21 associate degree programs, Graduate Institutes in Social Sciences and Applied Sciences, a School of Foreign Languages, and a Center for Continuing Education.

From the Şile Campus, which is 20 minutes away from Çekmeköy, you have the chance to go to Çekmeköy any time of the day with a free shuttle, and to Maslak and Kadıköy with paid shuttles.

The Şile Campus, where the Faculty of Engineering, the Faculty of Arts and Sciences, and the Faculty of Architecture are located, offers a vibrant student life with advanced laboratories, gyms, workshops, music studios, libraries, restaurants, and cafes. Many opportunities await you at Şile Campus, where dozens of events take place every year and offer students a campus life intertwined with art and culture.

You can find the opportunity to study in the center of the business and art world at Maslak Campus located in the center of the city in Istanbul, which hosts many social and cultural events. The Maslak Campus, where the Faculty of Fine Arts, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Vocational School, and Health Services Vocational School is located, hosts many exhibitions and cultural events throughout the year. With the services you can use during the day between Maslak and Şile Campuses, it is in your hands to travel between the two campuses at any time. A magnificent education life awaits you either by participating in social and cultural events in Istanbul or with activities organized on campus.

Isik University offers paid on-campus housing for all students in Sile Campus. However, the university cannot provide on-campus housing for the students who study at Maslak Campus. Students will still be offered accommodation options on our Sile Campus, there are many private dorms near Maslak Campus.

You do not need to make a reservation or payment for dorms before coming for registration, as we give priority to international students for dorm stay. You can make your payments and choose your room when you come to Şile Campus for registration. Please also note that official registration will start from 11th June until 4th October unless advertising on other dates. the dormitories will be available from the 20th of September, which is three days before the academic year starts
