TED University (TEDU) is a young, dynamic university.
The Student Counseling Center’s main objective is to support the physical, social and academic development of TEDU students. It also aims to help the students to overcome the possible problems they face during their development process and find preventive solutions and mentor them in making healthy and accurate decisions. All the services provided at the center are scientifically planned and delivered in line with the professional ethics. The Student Counseling Center (SCC) offers services as individual counseling, group counseling, workshops, seminars and orientation programs for the new students.
The primary target of a university is the students. TED University adopts a student-centered educational approach. The priority of TEDU is to educate graduates who can adopt easily to the rapidly changing and transforming conditions of life. Our university prepares its students to life as well-equipped, open minded, ever developing distinguished individuals. It aims to give the students a well-rounded education and also enables them to be socially well skilled. The university promotes social responsibility projects and student societies.
TEDU believes that basic skills and talents are as important as professional education, and therefore adopts the “liberal arts” approach applied by all the reputable higher education institutions world-wide. TEDU has a distinguished curriculum which aims to educate innovative and creative individuals who are able to question and think critically. Our university enables the students to follow a minor degree or double degree program with numerous elective course choices and develop themselves in different fields and disciplines.
TED University adopts student admission which enables the students to register to faculties rather than departments. The medium of education is 100% English and the students, who successfully complete the English Language School, follow the common course program in the first year and make a conscious professional choice in the beginning of the second year of education.
One of the primary targets of TED University is to give a strong English language education. Therefore, the medium of education in all the faculties and programs is in 100% English. The students who can not certify their proficiency in English, follow the English Language School which has a large and experienced academic staff. The students who certify their proficiency in English can directly begin their undergraduate programs.
TEDU offers student Exchange programs and has agreements with 55 foreign universities in the scope of Erasmus program. By means of these agreements, TEDU gives the opportunity to acquire and adopt a universal understanding and experience.
The academic personnel of TEDU is very strong with scholars who have completed their education in reputable universities of America, Europe and Turkey. TEDU gives theoretical and applied education. The offices of the faculty members are placed on the same flor as their classes which enable intensive scholar-student interaction.
TEDU offers admission scholarships and other types of scholarships during the period of education. Apart from the %100, %50 and %25 admission scholarships, the students can benefit from the International Baccalaureate Scholarship, Scholar Scholarship, Sports Scholarship and Sibling Scholarship opportunities. During the period of education, they can also benefit from the Merit Scholarship, English Language School Beginner Scholarship, Needs-Based Scholarship and Work & Study scholarship options.
ED University Career Center gives special importance to our student’s career requirements and deals with them individually. The object of the Career Center is to assist our students in familiarizing themselves with, and in being in contact with the business environments before graduation and in easily adapting to the professional life upon graduation
located in the heart of Ankara. It was founded in 2012 by the Turkish Education Association (TED), which has been pioneering the development of education in Turkey since 1928. With an emphasis on liberal arts education, TEDU aims to foster graduates, who are creative, critical-minded, self-confident, and well-rounded. The University consists of five faculties: Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Economics and Administrative Sciences; Education and Engineering, and English is the medium of instruction. TEDU is a progressive academic institution offering an integrated approach to higher education and a high-quality student-focused educational experience. Through academically rigorous coursework, dynamic teaching, meaningful research, and a myriad of opportunities for students to engage locally and abroad we seek to build a diverse community of socially responsible, globally-minded, lifelong learners.

Our university has a student residence for girls established in the 2015-2016 academic year with a capacity of 93 beds named Gülseren Student Residence. Mustafa Kemal student residence, established in the 2016-2017 academic year has a capacity of 393 beds and is composed of two blocks, one for female and the other for male students. The students who are placed with full scholarship can benefit from the student residences without charge, including free breakfast and dinner. Our student residences are designed in order to meet all the basic needs of the students. All rooms include bathroom and toilet and there are study rooms, common areas for recreation and social activities.
Our Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, and Guidance and Psychological Counseling programs have been accreditated by Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Teacher Education Program (EPDAD).
